If you are going for field work training and looking for a good NGO then you are on the right page. With this article, I am sharing information regarding how to select best NGO for your MSW field work project.

  • First of all, decide the theme on which you want to work. There are several topics and you can choose from child development, women empowerment, health, education, community, awareness and other.
  • Take help of internet and find some NGOs near to your home or locality.
  • Send your resume to their office through email.
  • They will call you for an interview where you need to describe about how you can contribute your qualification with the growth of NGO and also asked them how you can learn quality NGO management with working in NGO.
  • Give your best in doing practical training in NGO.

IGNOU Group Conference Field Work Report

IGNOU Group Conference If you are filling your group conference report on the field work journal, I am here to help you. On this section, you need to fill group discussion between all of the students in your batch. Your supervisor will conduct a group discussion meeting on any particular date and you need to write various details on your field work journal about this meeting.

Group conference may contain discussion of students on NGOS where they visited for 45 days orientation. You need to write report on 5 different NGOS on the space available on the journal. As a professional social worker, you need to know about the tools of social case work. There are numbers of social case work tools and you can generate new one from your own end. With this article, I am telling about popular tools of social work.

First of all, you need to create a professional relationship with your client. You client is your project and you need to work on his/her development. The tools required for this work are

1. Listening – You must need to have active listening. It is the biggest tool of social work. You need to listen your client very carefully.

2. Observation – observe the nature, problems and needs of your client.

3. Interview – you can find information regarding your client by taking personal interview or counseling.

4. Home Visit – For more information on your client’s behavior, you can take home visit from where you can find more info from his/her family members. Remember family members may or may not be interested with your activity so you need to create a professional relationship with your client’s family members too.

5. Relationship – It is very important tool of social work.
